Eve’s Apple Butter Pig Paing


Prep Time: 30 Minutes  |  Cook Time: 15 Minutes


1 T butter
1 Med onion chopped
1 t minced garlic
1 C ketchup
3/4 C apple butter
1/2 C lemon juice
1/4 C packed brown sugar
1/4 C orange juice
3 T steak sauce
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1/2 oz unsweetened chocolate
1 t ground ginger dissolved in a few teaspoons of water
1 t instant coffee
1 t ground pepper
1 t salt
1/2 t liquid smoke
2 t chipotle tabasco sauce for mild


1) melt butter
2) cook onion and garlic until translucent
3) add rest of the ingredients and simmer on low for 10 minutes
4) store unused in the refrigerator for later use. Don’t store used sauce.
